This is a historical and socio-economic outline – a Guide – of the long journey of the Pariana Community in the Lucchese mountains. An important Community, which developed in an area of major connections, crossings, and transits throughout history. The Guide begins from the moment when the existence of permanent inhabited structures is documented, and therefore, from the Early Middle Ages.
